PostureRay – Error 12289

Postureray – Error 12289 means that you have changed the date on your computer.  Please go back to your computer and click on the bottom toolbar completly to the right you will see a time displayed.  Click on the time (using the left hand side of your mouse) and click on Change time and Date settings.  Ensure that the date and time is accurate otherwise Postureray will not work. Restart your computer and try opening Postureray again.  

If you still get the same error 12289 then you will need to reactivate your license key .  Before doing this, make sure the date and time is accurate.  Here are the steps to reactivate your PostureRay license. 

1) PostureRay – Deactivate your License:

  •  Click on C:/Program Files (X86)/Postureco/PostureRay folder. (If your PostureRay is not located in this location, it might be on a different drive)
  • In PostureRay folder click on the Client.App file Use “Run as Administrator” (click on the right side of your mouse to get the Run as…)
  • The Activation Window will appear, press on the “Move Application – Remove” button
  • Click on Remove icon and OK, wait a few minutes and the system will confirm your key removal.

2) PostureRay – Reactivate your License:

  •  Go back to the same folder, Click on C:/Program Files (X86)/Postureco/PostureRay folder. (If your PostureRay is not located in this location, it might be on a different drive)
  • In PostureRay folder click on the Client.App file Use “Run as Administrator” (click on the right side of your mouse to get the Run as…)
  • The Activation Window will appear, press on the “ACTIVATE”  button, now you will need to get your activation key from the Postureray folder
  • Go back to C:/Program Files (X86)/Postureco/PostureRay folder. (If your PostureRay is not located in this location, it might be on a different drive) and click on License.txt file and copy the entire key with the brackets and paste it in the activate field
  • Press ACTIVATE. Wait for a message that will appear that states that this key has been activated.

Once you have removed your PostureRay license and reactivated it, then you can open your PostureRay software.  If you change your date on your computer again then you will need to re-do this procedure.
