How to check subscription status and / or change your subscriptions within PostureScreen

Many PostureScreen users reach out to support asking us to look up their account because the app isn’t working or they want to check their subscription status. However, just like Samsung can’t tell you what you bought at Walmart, we have no visibility into individual App Store purchases—our team is completely blind to your subscription details unless you send a support ticket directly from the app. The good news is you don’t need to contact us at all. In this short tutorial, Dr. Joe shows you the simple, self-service way to instantly see exactly what you’re subscribed to, view expiration dates, change or upgrade your plan, and restore purchases on any device—all from inside the PostureScreen app in just a few taps.

1. Understand why support can’t look up your account 0:01

  • PostureScreen support cannot directly look up your subscription or account status from their end.
  • The app is sold through the App Store, so subscription details live with Apple, not with the support team.
  • If you need help, the support team can only see what comes through a ticket submitted from inside the app.

2. Open the Upgrades section in the app 0:56

  • Launch PostureScreen.
  • Open the menu bar.
  • Tap Upgrades.
  • This is the area where all in-app subscriptions and purchases are managed.

3. Review what you are subscribed to 1:13

  • In the Upgrades screen, checkmarks show what you are currently subscribed to.
  • Items without checkmarks are not active on your account.
  • This is the quickest way to confirm:
    • what is active,
    • what is expiring,
    • and what you may still need to purchase.

4. Open your App Store subscription details 1:36

  • Tap Manage App Store Subscriptions.
  • This opens the subscription list tied to your Apple account.
  • Here you can see details such as:
    • subscription names,
    • expiration dates,
    • and which plans are currently active.

5. Change, renew, or upgrade/downgrade a plan 2:12

  • From the subscription screen, you can manage your plan directly.
  • Options may include:
    • Renew to keep a subscription active,
    • See All Plans to view available options,
    • switching between monthly and yearly billing,
    • upgrading or downgrading cloud storage plans.
  • Choose the plan you want, then confirm the change.

6. Restore purchases on another device if needed 2:50

  • If you use multiple devices, make sure they are signed into the same Apple account.
  • Tap Restore Prior Purchases.
  • Enter your Apple password when prompted.
  • The app will contact the App Store and pull in your latest subscription status.
  • If the subscription is tied to that Apple account, the app should unlock automatically.

7. Troubleshoot if the app still does not unlock 3:35

  • If restoring purchases does not unlock the app, that usually means the subscription is tied to a different Apple account.
  • This is a common issue when users think they are on the same account but are actually signed into different Apple IDs.
  • If the app still won’t unlock after restoring, that is a strong sign the subscription is not connected to the Apple account on that device.

8. Get help if you still have questions 4:06

  • Use the Upgrades area first to check subscriptions and manage purchases.
  • If you still need help, contact support@posturescreen.com.
  • Support can help further, especially if you submit the issue through the app’s help/support process.
