How to Self Install a PostureRay Server Software Upgrade
In this tutorial, we’ll walk through how to install a PostureRay network software upgrade. Note that you need to have PostureRay already activated as a license, and this server software upgrade must take place before upgrading workstations.
NOTICE: If you are upgrading from old versions of PostureRay (Versions 18 through 24), you will need to first uninstall the license for both the server and the workstations, and then after the respective software is updated, activate your license for Server first, and then follow by activating your workstation licenses. . See this tutorial for those steps: https://www.postureanalysis.com/knowledge-base/deactivate-reactivate-license/
Please also be advised if updating from an old Version 18 to version 24 or V24a to V24d, V24b to V24d and V24c to V24d -OR- for v25a to V25d, V25b to V25d and V25c to V25d. You will need to activate Schema Change after you install the software updates and activate your license. If your version falls within this range, see this tutorial ahead of execution of updates: https://www.postureanalysis.com/knowledge-base/error-20534-schema-change-needed/
