Editing PDF Report and Email Templates in PostureScreen (iOS)
This guide walks you through how to edit the text within PDF templates and outgoing email templates in the PostureScreen app on iOS.
Requirements
To access the editing features:
- You must have an active subscription to PostureScreen.
- Ensure the Edit Report Module is enabled (this is included with active subscriptions).
To verify:
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Go to Upgrades.
- Confirm the Edit Report Text Module is listed and active.
Accessing the Edit Interface
- From the Menu, tap Settings.
- Scroll down and select Edit Report Text and Office Letterhead.
Customizing Your Letterhead
- You may upload a custom logo or header image. If so:
- Use a JPEG formatted image.
- Ensure it includes all necessary contact information as part of the graphic (e.g., practice name, address, phone).
- Pay attention to image dimensions so it displays correctly on the final PDF.
Alternatively, you can type in your office information manually.
Editing Report Text
- You’ll see a list of report templates (e.g., “Two View”, “Four View”, “Lateral Squat”, etc.).
- Tap a report to begin editing its content.
Editable Fields Include:
- Report Title
- Body Text
- Email Subject Lines
- Hyperlinks to websites (you may insert links directly into the text)
Important Rules When Editing
- DO NOT modify or delete any placeholder fields in brackets, such as:
[client_name], [head_shift_value], [shoulder_height_difference]
- These are dynamic fields auto-populated by the software. Removing or altering them will break data display in the reports.
- You may reword surrounding sentences or modify descriptions (e.g., changing “Head is shifted” to “Your head has moved”), just do not alter bracketed variables.
Restoring Defaults
If you make a mistake or want to revert to the original report:
- Scroll to the bottom of the editing screen.
- Tap “Restore Default Text” to reset the current report.
- Or, tap “Restore All Defaults” to reset all templates to factory settings.
